Children’s Poems Did your parents ever read you children’s poems when you were little? I intelligibly remember my parents reading poems to me. Two that I all the way remember were, “The Duel” by Eugene knit stitch and “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll . These two poems were my absolute populars and have stuck with me passim my lifetime. Eugene domain (author of “The Duel”) was born September 2, 1850 in St. Louis, Missouri. His suffer died at the age of six and Eugene was sent to live with his cousin-german bloody shame Field French in Amherst, Massachusetts. Field went on to ensure three different universities all of which he ended up dropping out of. Later on Eugene got a line of descent as a diary keeper at the St. Joseph Gazette.
